Meet our friend Zack. He fought Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Approximately 500 children are diagnosed with AML every year; Zack had the FLT3 gene which bring it down to about 25 children a year. Diagnosed in June 2013 and he had his life saving bone marrow transplant on June 22, 2013. Zack is 13 years old and love to play baseball. His dad tells us that Zack especially loves to pitch and he is currently on 3 teams! He also likes to ski, snowmobile, the beach and family vacations.
